Chad D. Huber, 49, of Janesville, WI died in Janesville on Sunday, March 29, 2015. He was born on September 30, 1965 in Fargo, ND, the son of Gerald and Mary (Tooke) Huber. He grew up in Westhope, ND where he attended school thru 9th grade. He graduated from Glenburn, ND High School where he was an all state track and football player. After high school he attended North Dakota State School of Science. Chad was a U. S. Army veteran. He was formerly an over the road truck driver and factory worker. Chad resided in Wausau, WI until moving to Janesville where he managed the U-Bake Store. Chad loved fishing, hunting, metal detecting, gardening and was an avid cookie jar collector. He was also a very avid Minnesota Vikings fan.
Chad Huber is survived by three children, Steven Warren of Portland, OR, twins, Kayla Huber and David Huber both of Wausau, WI, his parents, Gerald and Mary Huber of Janesville, his brother, Shane (Angie) Huber of Machesney Park IL, his sister, Heather Huber of Madison, WI, aunts, and uncles, Wendy (Larry) Haugen, Ronnie (Barb) Huber, Myrna (Larry) Romine, Gary( Debbie) Huber Sandra (Maurice) Thornson, four nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, E.D. (Chappy) Tooke and Irene Tooke, Marion and Alice Huber, cousins, Bradley Carnduff, Ranae Huber and Clifford Tooke.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home, Janesville. Rev. Michael Jackson of New Life Assembly of God will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Henke-Clarson Funeral Home. A memorial service for Chad will be held at a later date in Antler, North Dakota where his remains will be laid to rest. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GIFTS Men Shelter or Teen Challenge in Chad’s name.
